HRM Nfon Mukete IV Ekoko, in a release made public of which The SUN procured a copy, disclosed that he will be supporting children willing to begin school come October 6, with Back to School Materials.
He stressed on the need for those interested to forward their applications, including names, institution, class and telephone number, to Nkume Eseme Moses Akwo, Head Counselor of the Kumba Traditional Council, on or before September 25, 2020.
The release further states that, the paramount ruler wishes all the children of the Bafaw tribe the best as they return to school come October 2020.
It should be recalled that since 2017, schools in the troubled North West and South West Regions have been affected, following separatists’ attacks on schools, teachers and students, in their quest to frustrate education in the regions.
