Global Finance is said to be compensating enterprises that have been creative in the wake of new situations through new approaches and financial services. Global finance says other considerations created by enterprises which are time and cost saving measures for the enterprises and impact positively on their clients, are equally included.
For example, Global Finance says they were very impressed by the introduction of “Ecobank mobile” which has greatly simplified and facilitated banking transactions or operations in the 33 African countries where they are operational, describing this as unique in Africa. The bank is present in Cameroon, West Africa, Central Africa and Southern Africa, commanding a workforce of 15, 000 and 20 million customers.
Ecobank is equally delighted to remind the public that it won a distinction as the bank with the best retail banking services in Africa during the “African Banker Award” ceremony in 2019 organised by Brand Africa 100.s, using modalities such as best innovation in financing businesses, payments, commercials, financing, managing the treasury and loans without interest.
The Director General of Ecobank Group, Ade Ayeyemi, expressing his satisfaction, states that: “we are happy to have been chosen by Global Finance for being the most innovative. This is ample evidence of the power of our influence in many African countries, our pan-African framework which is unique in our products and innovative bank solutions made possible by the challenges of on-line transformations”.
